Just for the love of it, let's see who will be first!
Let's celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Judgment of Paris! The Paris Wine Tasting of 1976 (also known as the Judgment of Paris) was a wine competition organized in Paris on 24 May 1976 by Steven Spurrier, a British wine merchant. In this competition French judges carried out two blind tasting comparisons: one of top-quality Chardonnays and another of red wines (Bordeaux wines from France and Cabernet Sauvignon wines from California). A California wine rated best in each category, which caused surprise as France was generally regarded as being the foremost producer of the world's best wines. Spurrier sold only French wine and believed that the California wines would not win. What will it be on our 6/25 wine seminar? A night of tasting, education and fun as we compare a selection of Californian wines against the same French varieties. Join our wine specialist as he takes you through 9 selected wines to showcase how different and at times how similar the wine styles can be. He has been working for very well and long established wine companies in Japan. With a very strong knowledge of the market and accustomed to Japanese consumers preferences he started up his own company on June 2015, K.K. Sassolino, Italian quality. Sassolino (Little Stone) has more than 30 outstanding, limited Italian wines on stock actually and planning to reach 40 items by the beginning of the next autumn. For the first time, we will introduce an Orange wine: 2010 Quartara Colli di Salerno IGT – Lunarossa (Fiano grape) Orange wines tend to be unique and exciting. It’s a white wine made like red wine. The color is close to orange due to the fermentation occurred in amphora ( like the Romans used to do )

Out of stockGreek wines offer great diversity across varieties, wine regions, and styles. Wine played an important role in Ancient Greek wine history, culture, and mythology. The Mediterranean climate and soil types allow for excellent grape growing. Greek wine regions are known for producing full-bodied red and crisp white wines. Some key indigenous grapes used are Agiorgitiko, Assyrtiko, Moschofilero, and Xinomavro while international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay are also popular. Greek wines provide excellent value, with many high-quality offerings at affordable prices. Out of stockExperience the magic of the holiday season with us as we celebrate in style with Champagne Pannier and a savoury gourmet dinner at the Shinjuku Hilton on December 9. We’ll be toasting exclusively with Champagne Pannier all night long. This premium bubbly is from one of the region’s historic houses in the heart of Champagne just outside Épernay, and it’s come to symbolize the epitome of elegance and celebration. Champagne Pannier isn’t just poured at the iconic Michelin-starred Jules Verne atop the Eiffel Tower, but it’s also served to first-class passengers on Air France and JAL. These opulent bubbles were also a part of the Nobel Peace Prize festivities when former President Obama won the award in 2009.
