Virtual Italian Wine Class

We will have a special Virtual Italian Wine Class on Sat. Sept. 12th from 7 till 9pm

This Italian Virtual Wine Class is only available to US Military Personnel based in Japan

Each participant will receive 3 bottles of fine Italian wines from Trentino ( worth 7,000Y ) before the event ( we can deliver inside or outside the US bases ) *

Trentino is a region located in the northern part of Italy. Its upper part, called Alto Adige, lies on the Alps. This proximity to mountains allows winemakers to have best conditions in their vineyards, often placed in perfect spots in the valleys with good ventilation and rich soil.

Our Italian wine expert will manage that event with some visual materials that you will receive by mail

You will also receive some food pairing ideas

We will use a free video conferencing service by Skype.

1) Solander Chardonnay Trentino DOC :
A fruity expression of the international varietal Chardonnay. Perfect to chill and refresh in Tokyo’s summer.

2) Solander Marzemino Trentino DOC:
Unmistakable color, ruby red, occasionally showing amaranthine sparkles. A delicate yet firm red wine. Can be served slightly chilled.

3) Solander Teroldego Rotaliano DOC:
Medium bodied expression of the Teroldego grape. This wine has a deep color, balanced tannins and complex and inviting aromas.

Virtual Wine Instructor

Federico was born in Milan, the fashionable business capital of Italy.
While he was in University, he started to study Japanese and wine, willing to be an ambassador of Italian wine and lifestyle in Japan.
He worked for the wine industry for more than 4 years.
He has been in Japan for about 3 years, working for a fine wines importer and distributor.
He hold the WSET Level 2 diploma ( a well respected wine education diploma)
He really loves wines and is passionate about introducing the italian wine culture to japanese and foreign customers.

7:30pm-8:15pm: presentations and tastings of our 3 Greorgian Fine Wines

8:15-8:30pm: Questions & Answers
