Often classified as one of the three best regions in France ( along with Bordeaux and Burgundy ), the Rhône Valley is a large, warm region known in the wine world for its variety of earthy red wines.

Our Premium venue: Tokyo American Club

Tokyo’s premier private members’ club provides many of the city’s elite expats a cushy place to hang out.

You do not need to be a TAC member to join that public event.

Covid 19’ precautions including temperature checks, social distancing (except couples) and liquid sanitizer will be in place. Please wear a mask to be able to get inside TAC.

Meet Frédéric Cayuela, a passionate wine lover and educator in Japan.

Frédéric is born in the Roussillon wine region located in south of France in the boundaries of Spain. With over 10 years of experience in the wine industry, Frédéric possesses a seasoned and a unique international background. He worked as a wine advisor for the château Nadal Hainaut in France, and, as a wine merchant, consultant, and educator in Taiwan and Singapore.

Now settled in Tokyo, Frédéric is a devoted Roussillon wine ambassador and shares his valuable knowledge about his native wine region, and his expertise on other French and worldwide winemaking regions as he obtained numerous international credentials under his belt.

His ultimate challenge is join the rank of the very few Master of Wine in the world.  As a wine educator, he wish to share more of his knowledge and passion for wines to others, and it is important to do it not only in an academic way, but instead in both an easy-going practical learning and a unique experience.

Here few of his accomplishments in the wine industry:

Diploma WSET holder. (DipWSET)
Graduated from Rivesaltes Sch. Of Agriculture. (DWS)
Certified Specialist of Wine from Society of Wine Educators (CSW)
French Wine Scholar Program Instructor (FWS)
Guide Hachette Judge for south of France category
Finalist 2nd place (2014) – Team winner (2012) during the professional Dionysiades wine tasting contest in France.

5:15pm: Welcoming guests with the aperitif

5:30-6pm: Powerpoint presentation on Rhone Wines

6-8:30pm: Dinner time

9pm: Closing door

Pricing: 16,980Y + tax

The 5 fine wines, service and speakers.

3 hours and half of education, fun and gourmet time ( 5:30pm-9pm )
