Virtual Georgian Wine Class

We will have a special Online Gorgian Wine Class on Sat. Dec 12th from 6:30 till 8:30pm

This Georgian Virtual Wine Class is only available to US Military Personnel based in Japan.

In this event we are going to explore three original georgian varietal, produced in the distinctive Qvevri, a ceramic pot used both as fermentation vessel and as wine storage.

Each participant will receive 3 bottles of fine Georgian wines ( worth about 8,000Y ) before the event ( we can deliver inside or outside the US bases ) *

A selection of high quality french delicatessen, dessert and breads is available at extra cost

Our wine expert will manage that event with some visual materials that you will receive by mail

We will use the free video conferencing service by Skype.

Rkatsiteli: the most famous georgian white wine abroad. Balanced, slighty acidic with a floral bouquet.

Kisi: a rare georgian varietal usually planted in montaneous regions. It has character and body, the maceration on skins results in a complex and satisfying white wine.

Saperavi: a surprising red wine. The Qvevri winemaking enables the grape full potential with a strong yet balanced wine. Juicy and smooth, silky tannins.

Federico was born in Milan, the fashionable business capital of Italy.
While he was in University, he started to study Japanese and wine, willing to be an ambassador of Italian wine and lifestyle in Japan.
He worked for the wine industry for more than 4 years.
He has been in Japan for about 3 years, working for a fine wines importer and distributor.
He hold the WSET Level 2 diploma ( a well respected wine education diploma)
He really loves wines and is passionate about introducing the italian wine culture to japanese and foreign customers.
