Le Comptoir began from a passion for delivering “joie de vivre,” or the joy of living, to people all over Tokyo through food and drink.
They opened their shop in 2021 inside the famous area called Shoto in Shibuya ( close to Bunkamura ).
The French Chef

After a classical culinary education and having worked in several Michelin-starred restaurants and Parisian palaces such as Ledoyen, Shangri-La, George V, and Bristol, as well as for the French presidency and several celebrities, Julien decided to settle in Tokyo to learn about Japanese life and culinary culture.
